KATHMANDU, June 7: Former King Gyanendra Shah celebrated his 71st birthday amidst a gathering of pro-monarchs at Nirmal Niwas on Friday.
Celebrating the birthday, ex-king appealed the fellow countrymen to show their belief towards national unity instead of heading towards disintegration and disputes. He also urged all people and people's representative to keep the country's interest at the fore front.
A group of pro-monarchs reached at Nirmal Niwas and extended their best wishes to the ex-kings.
