KATHMANDU, June 23: Esewa Money Transfer, Nepal’s first digital remittance company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Malaysia-based Touch 'n Go eWallet to facilitate contributions to Nepal’s Social Security Fund (SSF) by Nepali migrant workers residing in Malaysia.
The agreement was signed between Sarveswaran Raja Gopal, CEO of TNG Digital Remittance, and Ajesh Koirala, CEO of Esewa Money Transfer. Under this collaboration, Nepali individuals in Malaysia can now directly contribute to Nepal’s SSF through the Touch 'n Go eWallet app.
In a joint statement, the companies noted that the partnership not only simplifies the SSF contribution process but also lays the foundation for a long-term strategic alliance between Esewa Money Transfer and Touch 'n Go.
