KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Nepal’s digital remittance company, Esewa Money Transfer, has reappointed national cricket team star Dipendra Singh Airee as its brand endorser for another year, the company said in a press release.
Airee, who has been associated with Esewa Money Transfer for the past two years, will continue representing the company following the renewal of the agreement. The reappointment was formalized during a ceremony held on January 2 at the company’s corporate office in Pulchowk, Lalitpur. The agreement was signed by Esewa Money Transfer Chief Executive Officer Ajesh Koirala and Dipendra Singh Airee, the press release stated.

Speaking at the event, Airee said he was pleased to continue his association with Esewa Money Transfer, highlighting the company’s commitment to digital innovation. He said he looks forward to promoting digital remittance services and raising awareness among migrant workers about the importance of using safe, legal, and reliable channels for sending money to Nepal, the press release further stated.
As part of the agreement, Airee will actively promote Esewa Money Transfer’s digital remittance services and serve as the face of its various awareness and promotional campaigns.
According to the press release, CEO Ajesh Koirala expressed pride in continuing the partnership with Airee, describing him as a disciplined and talented athlete who has contributed significantly to elevating Nepali cricket on the international stage. He said Airee’s continued involvement would strengthen the company’s efforts to promote digital remittance services, particularly among youth and the broader Nepali community.
Established in 2019 and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank under foreign exchange regulations, Esewa Money Transfer is a digital-first remittance company under the F1Soft Group. The company provides remittance services to Nepalis worldwide and serves more than 20 million individuals and 130,000 entities across Nepal through fintech-based payment solutions, the company said.
