KATHMANDU, Nov 7: The Employment Permit System (EPS), which has remained closed for 20 months, will be reopened from the last week of November, Korean authorities said.
South Korea had stopped the process of recruiting workers to prevent the COVID-19 spread. But now the EPS process is set to resume from the last week of November. According to the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor, the process of hiring workers from all 16 countries, including Nepal, going to Korea through EPS will start in the last week of November.
