Issuing a press statement on Thursday, Nepal’s embassy in Moscow said Sapkota presented his credentials to the Belarus president. On the occasion, the two also dwelt on a range of bilateral issues and areas of mutual cooperation, the statement added. Before the ceremony, Sapkota paid a courtesy call on Belarus´s foreign minister Vladimir Makei. The Belarus foreign minister stressed on economic and technical cooperation between two countries and expressed willingness to cooperate in sectors of mutual interest. The Nepali ambassador is scheduled to meet high ranking officials of the Belarus government on Friday.
