Nembang told Nepal that the growing bitterness has put him in trouble while taking decision on the resolution filed by the Maoists demanding House directives to the president to reverse the orders to retain the sacked army chief in office.

“I have to take the decision after consultation with the parties but they are stuck to their guns,” Nembang was reported to have told Nepal.

Nembang is meeting with Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala and  Unified CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Thursday morning to discuss ways to mitigate the growing rift among the parties and request them to expedite the constitution-making process.

Speaker has called a meeting of the parliamentary Business Advisory Committee at 1 p.m. Thursday after similar meeting failed to decide the fate of the Maoists’ resolution. Maoists wanted the resolution be discussed in the House while Nepali Congress and others argue it is sub-judidce case in the Supreme Case and the House cannot deliberate it.
