Embark College launched in Lalitpur, partners with University of Roehampton

Chairman Shekhar Golchha said that the college’s vision is to become a hub for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Embark College, a new educational institution backed by Nepal's Golchha Group and Glocal Pvt Ltd, has officially launched its operations in Lalitpur. The college, approved by Nepal’s Ministry of Education on November 27, 2024, offers academic programs in partnership with the University of Roehampton, London, ranked in the top 15 percent globally.


According to a press release issued by Embark College, the college will offer a four-year BSc in Business Management and a two-year MBA, with admissions open for the January intake. The college’s state-of-the-art facility in Pulchowk aims to deliver a modern, technology-driven, and student-centered educational experience. Embark also plans to offer 10 percent full scholarships, including university fees, as mandated by the Ministry of Education.

The press release further stated that, focusing on entrepreneurship and skill-based education, Embark College intends to provide practical, industry-relevant learning, integrating real-world projects alongside theoretical studies. The curriculum is designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking and hands-on experience.


Chairman Shekhar Golchha said that the college’s vision is to become a hub for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence in Nepal. Similarly, Asish Thakur, executive director of Embark College, expressed the institution's commitment to bridging education, industry, and society, ensuring strong industry connections for students.


The partnership with the University of Roehampton aims to bring globally recognized, career-focused education to Nepal, empowering students for professional success, the press release stated.
