The accident took place when a passenger bus (Na. 6 Kha. 8439) heading for Kathmandu from Bardia hit a stationary truck on the road, information officer at the District Police Office Lilaraj Lamichane said. The injured are undergoing treatment at the new medical college in Bharatpur.
Meanwhile, one person was injured in another road accident that took place last night. Suman Adhikari,45, of Devchuli municipality-16 was seriously injured after the motorcycle (Na. 42 Pa. 5095) was hit by a truck on the highway in the same locality, police said. The condition of Adhikari, who is undergoing treatment in Bharatpur, is reported to be critical. RSS
