CHITWAN, Sept 11: An electric car caught fire on the East-West Highway in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-9 on Thursday morning, leaving its driver dead.
The driver was found inside the vehicle after the fire was extinguished. As the body was severely burned, police have yet to establish the identity of the deceased.

According to Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Paudel of the District Police Office, the EV with registration number Ba Pra 01-030 Cha 5579 caught fire this morning.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control, but the vehicle was completely destroyed in the fire.
