BAITAIDI, July 3: An elderly woman was raped in the district last week.
According to police, a 68-year-old single woman of Sarlami-4 of the district was raped by 41-year-old Jamal Singh Chad at around 12 midnight on June 23.
Relatives of the victim said that the woman was unconsciousness for two days after the rape.
Police have started investigation over the case after arresting the culprit, DSP Mohan Prasad Pokharel told Republica Online.
