Elderly woman dies in mishap

BHADRAPUR March 26: An elderly woman died and another person was injured after a motorcycle knocked them down in Jhapa district.



Bishnumaya Dahal, 85, of Rajgarh, who was critically injured after a motorcycle knocked her down at Maidhar on the East-West Highway died while undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, on Monday, according to Area Police Office, Jhiljhile.[break]



Critically injured pillion rider Narayan Prasad Paudyal of Jitpur VDC Ward No. 4 is undergoing treatment at Lifeline Hospital, Damak.Police have taken the motorcycle and the motorcyclist under control.
