KATHMANDU, Jan 18: A 73-year-old man has died following an elephant attack in Bhrikuti Tole, Sundar Haraicha Municipality-8, Morang.
Hari Prasad Ghimire, a resident of Bhrikuti Tole, was fatally attacked by an elephant that had emerged from the nearby forest around midnight on Friday. According to local reports, the attack involved a mother elephant with her baby. The victim was leaving his house at night when the elephant charged, and he died instantly from the injuries sustained.
