KATHMANDU, Dec 26:  Eight Nepali nationals were stopped from boarding flights in Kuwait and the UAE in two separate incidents after Indian immigration officials at Mumbai Airport discovered that their No Objection Certificates (NOC) and labor permits were forged.

According to reports published in the Times of India, an Indian news outlet, two women, Maili Bhomjan (22) and Bhagwati Dangi (32), were detained on Saturday when immigration officials, during cross-verification, identified that the Labor Permit they presented was fake.

Similarly, in a separate case, at least six Nepali men—Raj Kumar Tamang (30), Rupal Khadka (19), Arun Khadka (20), Karan Bohara (19), Sujan Bohara (20), and Dipesh Lamichhane (28) were detained at Mumbai Airport on December 20 after immigration officials found them with fake NOCs from the Nepal Embassy.
