Eight injured in Pokhara bus accident

According to local Raju Kshetri, there is a possibility of an accident due to the bus's brake failure. He mentioned that there were around 25 passengers on the bus involved in the accident.

POKHARA, May 14: Eight passengers were injured in a bus accident near Shanti Stupa in Pumdi Bhumdi of Pokhara Metropolitan City-22.


According to Kaski District Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hari Bahadur Basnet, the passenger bus (Ga 1 Kha 3886) met with the accident. Four passengers sustained serious injuries, while four others suffered minor injuries, Basnet added.

The injured have been brought to Pokhara for treatment. The road leading to Shanti Stupa from Pokhara  is winding and steep.
