KATHMANDU, Sept 16: At least 43 people were injured in a bus accident at the Unasi Bridge on the East-West Highway in Bara. Eight of the injured are in serious condition, according to Shashidhar Ghimire, Chief District Officer of Bara.

According to CDO Ghimire, the bus, with registration number Na 8 Kha 1164, was traveling from Kankarvitta to Dang when it lost a wheel, became uncontrollable, and fell eight meters off the bridge at around 1 AM last night. All the injured are being treated at a local hospital.
