Effect of westerly winds likely to cause snowfall in a few places in hilly region

KATHMANDU, Nov 18: There has been changes in weather due to the partial effect of westerly wind.

There has been a partial change in the mountainous terrain of the country. In the rest of the territory, the weather will generally be fine, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

According to the division, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

On Sunday and Monday also, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

The MFD warned of being cautious as there will be snowfall and cold in some places.
