KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Today, it will snow in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently a partial influence of the westerly winds in Nepal.

According to the MFD, the weather is mainly clear in the hilly areas of the country while the rest of the country is partly cloudy. Also there is fog in many parts of Terai in the country.

Similarly, the weather will be mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country this afternoon, while the remaining areas will be partly cloudy. Also, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy. According to the MFD, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
