KATHMANDU, Feb 12: The Election Commission has submitted its annual report of fiscal year (2018/19) to President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.
According to a press statement issued by the election body today, the report includes various activities carried out by the EC in the past one year.

Receiving the annual report, President Bhandari extended her gratitude to EC officials for submitting the annual report in accordance with the constitutional provision.
She also urged EC to encourage citizens to cast their valuable votes thereby increasing the number of participants during election.
The annual report now will now be presented before the House of Representatives through the cabinet.
Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapalia, Commissioners Narendra Dahal and Ishowri Prasad Poudel and officials at the EC and President's Office were present during the program.
