“It will hardly take three or four days to complete printing of remaining ballot papers for FPTP electoral system,” he added.

EC needs to print 15 million ballot papers also for the FPTP electoral system. According to EC officials, the commission will begin dispatching the ballot papers to the polling locations after printing the ballot papers for the FPTP electoral system.

EC officials say Nepal Army (NA) will be entrusted with dispatching ballots papers and ballot boxes.

Altogether 12.3 million voters are registered with the commission for the upcoming CA election scheduled for November 19. The commission had registered 17.6 million voters for the erstwhile CA polls held in 2008.
