Drug peddler held with 21,00 tablets of nitravet

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Police have arrested a man in the Capital on the charge of selling narcotics drug on Monday.


The arrested has been identified as Ramesh Prajapati of Kathmandu.

Acting on a tip-off, a special squad of police detained Prajapati with 2,100 tablets of nitravet, DSP Somendra Singh Rathore told Republica Online.


A preliminary investigation of the police showed that Prajapati was involved in importing illegal drug from Raxual and selling them at Thamel area as well as to other drug addicts, police said. 


Prajapati runs a restaurant in Futung.
