DPM Pokhrel assumes office

KATHMANDU, June 3:Newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel assumed office today.

The Deputy Prime Minister who also holds the portfolio of defense affairs was appointed to the post of deputy prime minister in course of the expansion of the cabinet by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli fourth time .

He took oath of office and secrecy as the deputy prime minister before President Bidya Devi Bhandari Friday. RSS
