KATHMANDU, Dec 26: New Information and Communications Secretary Mahendra Man Gurung has pledged to make timely amendments to the office policy and programs.
Addressing a program organized at the Ministry in his welcome today, he vowed to carry out office works on a priority and participatory-based approach and urged all employees concerned to lend support to the Ministry towards that end.
Almost all ministries shared a common working procedure, but time has come to think about doing work creatively and through a new way, he asserted.
The new communications secretary who replaced Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya assumed office today itself. On the occasion, the Ministry also bade farewell to secretary Thapaliya who is transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in the place of Gurung.
Secretary Thapaliya said technology development and service delivery were his topmost priorities while in office at the Ministry and it needed to do more exercise to take it towards that way. RSS
