KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has made driving license forms unlimited starting Friday.
The DoTM Spokesperson Loknath Bhusal said the existing arrangement to receive online applications for a limited number each day has been changed from Friday and the online forms will be made available to an unlimited number of applicants from January 22.
Earlier, the DoTM had decided to conduct the written and practical examination of the driver's license from December 29. This was stalled since last March following the outbreak of COVID-19.
The DoTM has informed that the SMS service being received regularly by the service seekers after filling up the online form of driver's license, has been suspended for the time being due to technical reasons.
The DoTM has requested all concerned to save the automatically generated number received from its registration number and submit it to the concerned office within the stipulated time until the SMS service comes back into operation.
