KATHMANDU, June 28: Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa urged one and all not to be stubborn on their demand to make Maitighar Mandala as an area of protest.
At a press conference held in the MoHA, Thapa said that the government had decided to prohibit any form of protests at Maitighar Mandala to ensure security and safety.
The government’s decision to prohibit protests at Maitighar Mandala, Bhadrakali and Baneshwor has drawn wide criticism from civil society and political parties.
