KATHMANDU, July 5: Supreme Court (SC) Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Saranga Subedi have expressed differing opinions regarding the petition demanding the suspension of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
The case was heard on Thursday, and the conflicting views of the justices who heard the case led to an inconclusive order. As a result, the matter will now be referred to a three-judge bench.
The SC has yet to release an official statement explaining the reasons behind the judges' disagreement.
