The diarrhoea spread in the poor settlement in the VDC since three days. The victims are four-year-old Laxminiya and two-year-old Manish, the daughter and son, respectively, of Upendra Thakur Hajam. [break]
Laxminiya died on Saturday while Manish died on Sunday as they did not get timely treatment.
Ten people are still suffering from diarrhoea and have been given medical attention, according to senior health worker Girendra Jha. A team of health workers has reached the remote village with medicines and started treatment, it is stated.
