DOLAKHA, Oct 2: A person died and around 12 people were taken ill due to diarrhoea at Simigaun of Gaurishankar rural municipality-9 in Dolakha district on Sunday.

Seventy nine-year-old Tenji Sherpa of Simi Gaun in the district lost his life to diarrhoea while 12 others have been suffering from it among whom three were in a critical condition, according to Mingma Nuri Sherpa, a local.
A team of healthcare providers have been dispatched with necessary medicines to the village after receiving the news of death from diarrhoea there, said Chief District Officer in Dolakha, Laxman Bikram Thapa.(RSS)
