Diarrhea kills 3 more in Doti

DHANGADHI, Aug 11: Diarrhea claimed three more lives in Doti on Sunday and Monday, taking the death toll in the district to nine. According to the District Public Health Office, the deceased are 60-year-old Deva Devi BK of Mudbhara-4, and 8-year-old Dhauli Nepali and 2-year-old Khanjari Nepali of Chhapali VDC.



Khanjari and Dhauli died on Sunday while BK succumbed to the disease on Monday, the office said.



The diarrheal outbreak has affected over a thousand people in 17 VDCs of the district.
