KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Sagar Dhakal notched up a match-winning performance in Nepal U-19 cricket team’s commanding 80 runs win against Sri Lankan club Baduraliya Cricket Club in the second practice match played at Surrey Cricket Ground in Sri Lanka on Thursday.
Dhakal registered a five-wicket haul conceding 18 runs from his 5.1 overs in the rain-shortened match to give Nepal first win in second practice match in preparations for upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup from September 5.

Baduraliya was bundled out for 84 runs in 23.1 overs chasing the revised target of 165 runs in 31 overs during the second innings.
Earlier, Rit Gautam and Hari Bahadur Chauhan scored 76 and 51 runs respectively to help Nepal reach the total of 206 runs before losing all 10 wickets in 46.4 overs. Gautam smashed four boundaries during his 126-ball stay whereas Chauhan scored two boundaries and a six during his 78-ball stay. The target was later revised due to rain.
Nepal will face Chilaw Marians in the third practice match at Katunayake in Sri Lanka on Friday.
