Development partners for free and fair CA poll

KATHMANDU, July 23: Nepal´s development partners have emphasized on holding a free and fair Constituent Assembly elections.



On the behalf of development partners, who have been supporting Nepal´s election process, the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Terence D. Jones issued a press release on Tuesday reiterating their strong support for the forthcoming CA elections and the local government elections in the near future. [break]



"Nepal’s development partners appreciate efforts to convene representatives of all political parties to reach agreement on the final parameters of free and fair elections that will lead to an inclusive Constituent Assembly," says a press release adding," contributions from development partners to the Elections Commission of Nepal are designed to help ensure that the polls are held on time and are credible and inclusive."
