Deuba urges oppn to come back for dialogue

POKHARA, March 18: Former Prime Minister and senior Nepali Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the 30-party alliance including the main opposition UCPN (Maoist) to renounce the protest programs and come for dialogue.

Speaking at a press meet organized by Nepal Press Union Kaski here Wednesday morning, leader Deuba however warned that the new constitution would be promulgated through the due process if the opposition alliance did not turn up for negotiations. "We have become very flexible and waited for them long, but now we cannot wait any longer", he said.He also expressed the confidence that the UCPN-M would not abandon the Constituent Assembly.

Referring to the ongoing differences over Kailali and Kanchanpur in the federal design, leader Deuba said the major three parties have agreed to go for a referendum if necessary to take a decision over it. RSS
