KATHMANDU, Aug 14: The Nepali Congress establishment outsider group is holding a national gathering in Kathmandu today, Friday.
The gathering will be held at 11:30 am at Miracle Party Palace in Sukedhara. Outgoing party president Sher Bahadur Deuba will address the gathering.

The closed session will be held on August 15 and 16. Various issues will be discussed during the closed session, with the group expected to formulate new policies and programmes. Around 5,000 party leaders and cadres are expected to attend the gathering.
Deuba, who returned home on Thursday after receiving treatment in Singapore following an attack during the Gen Z movement on September 10, was welcomed by leaders and cadres from the dissident faction at Tribhuvan International Airport with musical instruments. They then took him directly to the Chundevi office.
A board bearing the title “President” before Deuba’s name has been placed outside his office and inside his chamber.
The board was put up on the eve of the three-day national gathering being organised by the dissident group in Kathmandu from today.
