Deputy Inspector General injured in helicopter mishap

BIRGUNJ, May 31: Armed Police Force (APF) Deputy Inspector General Shailendra Shrestha was injured when an aluminium corrugated sheet flew from a house during a helicopter landing at Chandranigahpur on Sunday.

The Nepal Army helicopter was carrying Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal. Shrestha, deployed at the Central Regional Headquarters of APF, is out of danger and receiving treatment at a local health post.
