KATHMANDU, Oct 6: Defending champion Nepal has crashed out from the ongoing Bangabandhu Gold Cup tournament held at Sylhet Jilla stadium in Bangladesh on Saturday. Palestine defeated Nepal with 1-0 goal.
Nepal suffered a loss with the decisive goal of Khaled Salem of Palestine in 70th minute. With the two consecutive losses, Nepal has ousted from the tournament. Earlier Nepal had lost with Tajikistan by 2-0 goals.
Meanwhile, Palestine has secured the top position of the group with two wins and stepped in the semi-final. Similarly, Tajikistan has also moved into top-four as runner-up.
