Ever since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their relationship official by getting hitched, people have time and again questioned them about their plans on starting a family together. Deepika recently opened up about all the rumours surrounding her pregnancy. Speaking about the same, Deepika reportedly said that she is not surprised by her pregnancy rumours as according to her it is the said expectation in the society. Answering the question of whether they intend to have children, she added that they both love children and wuld want to have them at one point in time. However, they are not planning on having kids anytime soon.

According to Deepika, both Ranveer and she are “selfishly” focussed on their respective careers and it would be “unfair” to have children at this point. In fact, she cleared that they are not even thinking about kids.

Deepika and Ranveer got married last year in Lake Como, Italy in presence of their close friends and family members. The couple honoured both Sindhi and Konkani traditions in their wedding.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’ where she will be seen playing acid attack survivour Laxmi Agarwal. The film will also star Vikrant Massey in a lead role.

Deepika will also reunite with her husband on screen once again in Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’ where she will be seen playing his onscreen wife.

The actress will also be co-producing both the films.
