In women´s 14+ age group, Deep Jyoti´s Shanta Thapa with five points and Sangita Jaiswal with four points secured the first and third places and while Binita Kapali from Annapurna finished second with four points. In men´s same category, Prashant Bhasima of Tyoud with 4.5 points, Rabin Sunwar of Greenland with four points and Nabin Jaiswal of Deepjyoti garnered top three spots, respectively.
In men´s U-14 category, Rupesh Jaiswal from Deep Jyoti with five points, Sushil Chaudhary from Nightingale with four points and Srikrishna Prajapati of Khowpring secured top three places respectively. In women´s same category, Matina Kusi of Khowpring with 4.5 points, Tara Ghale with four points and Bishaka Jaiswal of Deep Jyoti with 3.5 points bagged the top three spots, respectively.
In women´s U-12, Purnima Jaiswal and Been Jaiswal of Deepjyoti, Asmita Panthi of Annapurna garnered top three places and in men´s category Bijay Dangol of Khowpring, Prasant Thapa of Deep Jyoti and Roshan Paudel came in top three places.
In men´s U-10, Ipran Shrestha of Deep Jyoti, Chandra Gurung of Srinarayan and Sanjayraj Aryal of Northpoint bagged top three spots. In women´s same category, Susmita Bhusal and Lisa Maharjan of Bhanubhakta and Remi Maharjan of Annapurna came third.
The youngest player of the tournament, Bibidhpratap Singh of Moral Academy was awarded with the rising player award. Nepal Chess Association President Rajeshhari Joshi and Chandra Prakash Bhandari, the principal of Annapurna School, handed over the prizes.
