KAPILVASTU, Feb 24: The decapitated head of a young man, who was killed and buried in Pipri Village of Kapilvastu Municipality-4, has been found six days after the recovery of the body.
On Friday, the head was found burnt and buried 200 meters east of the place where the body was found.
Shiva Kumar Kurmi, 27, of Maharajgunj Municipality-6 Bhalwari was brutally murdered on February 17. He was killed and the body was burned and buried in the village. The hind limbs of the deceased were found on Sunday and the torso on Monday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Bahadur Oli said that the head was found only on Friday. The head was burned before burial. Ashes were also found on the place where the head was buried. Deputy Superintendent of Police Oli said that the police team sent the head to the Provincial Hospital Butwal for post-mortem.
DSP Oli said that local Pushpa Devi (Gudiya) Upadhyaya and Shyam Kumar Upadhyaya were arrested on the charge of killing the youth. He said that they were arrested last Monday and the court has remanded them in custody for investigation. The police have also recovered various items including two axes, machete and other household weapons used in the murder. DSP Oli said that the investigation into the incident has been intensified and the search for other accused is also ongoing.
According to the police, the arrested woman was having an extra-marital affair with the victim and the murder was a result of the illicit relationship.
The arrested woman is married to a man in Bhalwari whereas her maternal house is in Pipri. The woman's husband is abroad.
The deceased Kurmi has a wife, a 4-year-old daughter and a two-and-a-half-month-old son. Police said that the incident was a pre-planned murder. On the day of the murder, traces of a struggle between the deceased and the killers were also found in a field north of the place where the body was buried.
Superintendent of Police Navaratna Paudel said that he will hold a press conference to inform more about the incident.
Urmila, the wife of the deceased, demanded strict action against the murderers who brutally killed her husband.
