KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Everybody wants to maintain their look, nobody wants to look old, tired or out of shape. But it’s really hard to maintain appearance with the growing age. Most of the people feel disappointed when they notice their first sign of aging during the late 20s. This disappointment keeps on increasing with the increase in age and some people decide to go for plastic surgery, where surgeons can change and reshape the appearance of any body parts through surgery. The process can be used to fix problems like a mole, wrinkle, fine lines, scars and many more. Not just in aged people, the surgery is equally popular among beauty concerned youngsters.

Plastics are used in plastic surgery


Plastics are not used in plastic surgery. The name ‘plastic surgery’ came from the Greek word “plastikos”, which means “to mold”. It has nothing to do with the material “plastic”.


It is only for celebrities and the rich

Anyone interested in the surgery can go for it as it is a safe surgery. It is not only for the rich and celebrities. Several surveys have shown that the vast majority of patients undergoing plastic surgery are actually middle-class people.


Only females go for plastic surgery


Even though women represent a larger number of plastic surgery patients, male patients are also seen undergoing cosmetic surgery. At present, the ratio for both male and female seems increasing.


It can give new facial identity


Plastic surgery includes surgery of each facial parts not the whole face at a time. So it is impossible to give new facial identity to anyone going for the surgery.


Face restoration afterburn is possible


Restoration of the face or any other body part is impossible after burn or burn-related injuries.


3 things to know before going for it:


It is safe


If going to experienced surgeons, the patient will be safe from various harmful consequences. 


Results will start appearing after five months


The result after the surgery takes at least five months. The patient should have the patience for at least five months.


You don’t have to go abroad for a plastic surgery


It is easily accessible and affordable here in Nepal. Anyone interested in the surgery can have it done safely instead of going abroad only for a single purpose.
