Chief District Officer Shambhu Koirala sent the documents for investigation after the CIAA directed to do so within three days.[break]
The local administration seized the documents from the revenue office on Tuesday on the suspicion of illegal land transaction worth hundreds of millions of rupees last Sunday.
Under-Secretary duo Hari Bakhati and Baburam Khanal fo the Ministry of Land Reform have started departmental investigation on the suspicion hundreds of million rupees of irregularities on midnight land transaction by some staffs of Kaski Revenue Office.
"We have already sent the documents to the CIAA," said CDO Koirala. He said Bakhati and Khanal will be investigating the case.
It has been reported that Tan Bahadur Thapa sold a portion of 6 kitta land out of 1 ropani, 3 aana and 3 dam in area along with three buildings to Metro City Hospital last Sunday. The hospital had been operating there renting a building. Thapa had sold the land to the hospital for Rs. 90 million although he had purchased the land for Rs. 67.5 million.
The employees involved in the mid-night land transaction are land revenue officer Shalik Ram Dhakal, section officer Keshav Subedi, Subbas Kirshna Prasad Koirala, Laprasad Subedi, Laxmi Poudel and Khim Prasad Marasini have been already interrogated.
Similarly, Lok Nath Subedi, Ram Chandra Poudel, Deepak Poudel, Dilli Raj Subedi and Dilli Prasad Sharma and others, are reported were also grilled for their involvement.
