Daily life affected as Terai districts experience thick fog

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has reported the onset of fog in 22 districts of Terai. The MFD has urged the general public to exercise necessary precautions and remain vigilant, emphasizing potential impacts on daily life.

"There is a possibility that the weather will gradually improve by midday, and its partial effects may impact daily life, health, road and air traffic. Therefore, it is advised to take necessary precautions and stay vigilant," stated the MFD in a 24-hour weather bulletin.

The affected districts include Kanchanpur, Kailali, Bardiya, Banke, Dang, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Nawalparasi-East, and Nawalparasi-West in West Terai. Additionally, Chitwan, Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari, and Dhanusha in Central Terai are experiencing fog. East Terai districts of Siraha, Saptari, Sunsari, Morang, and Jhapa are also affected.
