Speaking to journalists at the Nepalgunj airport, Dahal said, “We will not allow the House to run its business under the present circumstances.” Dahal was in Birendranagar to attend a program organized by the Maoist´s Bheri-Karnali state committee. He said that the UCPN (Maoist) was ready to call of House disruptions if the president´s move is rectified and the Interim Constitution amended.
Dahal claimed that his party joined the special committee to supervise, integrate and rehabilitate Maoist combatants as it was sincere towards the ongoing peace process. “The present coalition is already in a minority,” he said, adding, “There will be a new government under our leadership soon.”
