MAKAWANPUR, Dec 10: Krishna Prasad Dahal has defeated Rastiya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chairman Kamal Thapa with more than 5 thousand votes in Makawanpur-1.

Dahal who is the leader of UML is candidate from Left Alliance secured 40631 votes where his rival candidate 34658 votes.
