Dahal courts Baidya on unification bid

KATHMANDU, March 22: The UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached the office of the CPN (Maoist) led by Mohan Baidya at Buddhanagar and is holding talks on a unification bid.

The meeting is also attended by leaders Baburam Bhattarai, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi from Dahal's party while CP Gajurel, Ram Bahadur Thapa and Dev Gurung from Baidya's party.


The meeting is a follow up after both parties formed committees for unity.
