In the senior boys´ category, Daffodil defeated HIMS 57-48 in the final match played at the court of the host Baba Boarding High School, Chabahil. [break]
Daffodil took a 10-5 lead in the first quarter and maintained it with 18-14 scores in the second quarter. HIMS threw a tough challenge in the last two quarters but the last two quarters ended in 14-14 and 15-15 draw respectively.
Dawa Janbu Sherpa scored 23 points for HIMS but it was not enough to defeat Daffodil, for which Pratik scored 19 points.
However, Daffodil was upset by Mahendra Bhawan in the final of senior girls´ category.
Mahendra Bhawan won the match 42-21 as Ranju Adhikari scored 14 points.
Sange Sherpa of Daffodil and Upama Pokharel of Mahendra Bhawan were adjudged ´most-valuable-player´ in their respective categories.
