Daffodil beat Valley Public 23-18 to top Group A while Mahendra Bhawan thrashed KMC 39-7 in Group B.[break]
Daffodil took the first quarter 3-0. Valley Public leveled the score by half time after winning the second quarter 9-6, but lost the third quarter 10-2. Valley Public fought back to take the fourth quarter 7-4 but it was too little, too late. Yanjin Frezila was the highest scorer with eight points.
Meanwhile, Mahendra Bhawan dominated all four quarters to register a big-margin victory over KMC. Upama netted 13 points for the winning team.
Chandbagh School also qualified for the semifinals as Group B runner-up.
In the boys´ section, Valley Public and Daffodil advanced into the last eight. Valley Public thrashed KMC 59-18 with 18 points from Ravi Thapa.

The first quarter ended 7-7 but Valley Public took all the remaining quarters 17-5, 17-6, 18-0 respectively to seal the win. In the last match of the day, Daffodil routed Brihaspati 51-20 as Sangel scored 17 points.
