KATHMANDU, August 4: The Office of the Controller of Examinations of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has postponed the entrance examination for diploma and pre-diploma levels.

The CTEVT published a notice and said that the entrance exams for the admission to diploma and pre-diploma levels which were earlier scheduled for August 5, August 9 and August 11 have been postponed and will be conducted in mid-August.

The CTEVT has said that the entrance exams for diploma/certificate scholarships will be conducted on the morning of August 19, the full-fee exam will be conducted on August 23, and the pre-diploma scholarship entrance exam will be conducted on August 19 and the full-fee exam will be conducted on August 23.

After the CTEVT opened the application for the entrance examination, the Medical Education Commission asked the students not to enroll, saying that there is no fixed seat in General Medicine (or Health Assistant), Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab and other subjects.
