CTEVT changes admission standards

BHAKTAPUR, July 8: The meeting of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) National Examination Board today has changed the criteria for the enrollment of the students in the vocational subjects of the diploma course.

BHAKTAPUR, July 8: The meeting of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) National Examination Board today has changed the criteria for the enrollment of the students in the vocational subjects of the diploma course. 


With the changed standards, students securing D+ in English, Maths and Science in SLC examination also can get enrollment in the field, said member secretary at the CTEVT, Ramhari Lamichhane.

He added that only the students securing C grade could get admission in the field before this decision. Lamichhane further said that the meeting also decided that the students securing D+ in English and C in Science and Maths can get enrollment in health subjects. 


Similarly, students securing C+ in either any two of Maths, English and science or D in any one can get admission in Agriculture and Forestry while D+ in Maths, English and Science will meet the criteria for the enrollment in Hotel Management, Entrepreneurship Development and Social Work. RSS
