Calligraphy is also known as the art of beautiful handwriting. According to britannica.com the term calligraphy may have been derived from the Greek words for "beauty" (kallos) and "to write" (graphein).

Moreover, former Miss Newa and a media person Sunita Dangol and Type Designer Ananda K. Maharjan, who are co-founders of Callijatra, began conducting calligraphy workshops in Nepal in 2017.
