A team led by Assistant warden of the Chitwan National Park Bhumiraj Upadhyay and local people rescued it.

The crocodile probably entered the village in search of food and shelter, said park’s buffer zone chairman Keshav Devkota.

The crocodile will be taken to crocodile breeding center at Kasara after necessary health treatment.

The numbers of the creature have been decreasing everyday due to climate change.
