Cricket training for blinds begins

NEPALGUNJ, Nov 25: Cricket training for the blind has begun from Wednesday in Nepalgunj.



A total of 40 blind students from different schools in the district are taking part in the training organised by Banke Association of the Blind and Cricket Association of the Blind, Nepal jointly, said the organising body.



Central member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Janak Nepal and chief of the mid-western region sports committee Prem Malla inaugurated the training session amidst a function organised here today. Speaking at the function, the duo stressed on the need for the change of social perception towards the blind.
